hi guys this is a qn i really cant solve . appreciate the help.
its about this shogun( jap warlord) that wants to purge his daimyo(shogun) by collecting more than 0.5 of his income per year. every year. shoguns will collect rent from a daimyos income.
for a daimyo that the shogun wants to purge, there is a probability of 0.8 that the shogun would request of more than 0.5 of daimyos income. for those that the shogun wants to keep as allies, the corresponding probability is only 0.1 . so this year, the shogun wanted a contribution of more than 0.5 of alex income( one of the daimyo) income, so whats the chance that the shogun wants to purge Alex. Take probability that the probability that a daimyo would be requested to contribute more than 0.5 of his income would be 0.125
the thing is.. i gathered we need to find p( purge | collect more than 0.5) = P(P intersect C/ P(C) ..
everything can find.. except P(A)...
