    Don't get statistics

I am a senior taking Intro to Statistics online through my school and I am lost! I just don't get statistics and don't feel like I am getting good help. How do I understand it? Are there any helps out there that would explain it sufficiently and in detail? I just feel like I am missing something that everyone else understands. Can anyone help me? Thanks Liz

You can ask specific question here.

Also, if it is an Intro to Statisitics, you can just google for some concepts, tutorials for basic stuff are usually out there.

    Good Luck

    Hello there Liz,

A little disappointed you did not include a greeting.

Oh well, may I suggest looking at the thread, "any good beginner texts".

    Regards,

    Tom

You can do it... try this

what type of stats are you taking... i have been in your position and im taking behavioral stats so dont feel bad

i even have a professor who makes us do the work from scratch; cause he is old school

    this is what helped me
if you have a text book read the chapters, but when you read, dont read everything at once, for example if you are reading a chapter on distribuition read each section and take your own notes (if you have like a week to read a chap. read no more than 2 sections a day) work ALL the sample problems over and over, repetition is key!

you have to study stats... so try to practice previous worksheets and problems at least 1-2 hours a day! try that

and of course ask your teacher for help!
