    How would you give a sample space of rolling a pair of 12-sided dice?

    A sample space is merely all the possible outcomes:

    For rolling two 12-sided dice, you can have:

    (1,1)
    (1,2)
    (1,3)
    (1,4)
    (1,5)
    (1,6)
    (1,7)
    (1,8)
    (1,9)
    (1,10)
    (1,11)
    (1,12)
    (2,1)
    (2,2)
    (2,3)
    (2,4)
    (2,5)
    (2,6)
    (2,7)
    (2,8)
    (2,9)
    (2,10)
    (2,11)
    (2,12)...and so on.
