Hi I'm new to stats and I was doing a problem that I didn't understand, when I asked my teacher he gave me this definition:

"numerical attribute of a set of data"

does anyone know what that means? I am doing a problem with z scores and that is in one of the questions, but I can't answer it because I don't know what it means!
