hello members.
I need some help.
In the survey i got responses from the parents and children regarding
why the children do not attend school for 20 different areas. I tabulated all
the % of responses in 20 columns for different areas and in 7 rows for the
given reasons; So i get 2 different tables with 20x7 cells of proportions.
Note that, Sample of parents and children varies area to area from 2000 to
50000 therefore i calculated all % for common understanding of their responses.
Now my question is, what statistical methods i can apply to draw conclusion considering the entire result? can i test whether there is any significant difference among responses in the areas? if yes, which ones are appropirate for these? or is there any significant difference between parents and children's responses? or what else i can do?
Note that, responses are also segregated by gender, and region (urban/
rural) as well.
Any help/suggestion would be highly appriciated.
regards,
mpb
