Which test to use? Fisher exact?

    Hi all,

We're studying expression of a protein from benign to primary malignant and metastatic lesions. Let's say 0/15 of the benign, 19/27 (70%) malignant, and 11/19 (60%) metastatic lesions were + for this protein. Fisher's exact says that they are significantly correlated, which is clear from benign to malignant, but what test would I use to determine if the decrease from primary malignant to metastatic is significant?

Thanks so much for your help!

    Paiwaise fisher exact tests.

    benign vs malignant
    malignant vs metastatic

benign vs metastatic is not relevant I think

Please note you are doing multiple tests now on the same data (at least 3). You need to lower your alpha accodingly (p<0.05/3)
