When I run an anova in JMP (5.1), under each least squares means table I get a least square mean (and a plane old mean which are the same-what's up with that) which are correct. But for all means, they have the same standard error. That can't be right, each mean should have it's own standard error. It looks like JMP is pooling the SE, but I want the SE associated with each mean. How can I ask jmp to give me the standard error associated with each mean?
There is no "summary stats" available from the ANOVA (fit model) response box. The summary stats window found under the "tables" tabs can only give me a mean or standard error for a whole column. When I run an ANOVA I get means for how I wan the data analyzed (for only specific parts of columns), and that is what I want the SE for.
