Hi

First time user here

Can anyone supply a formula for the following please?
I want to run a game of bingo but use a roulette wheel to generate the winning numbers.
Numbers are from 0-36 and each player will in advance choose 5 numbers. I will allow a maximum of 25 spins
So I need to know the probability (or the odds) of someone actually hitting all of their numbers.
Please bear in mind of course that the roulette wheel can spin the same number twice or three times in a row etc, these spins will count toward the 25 total spins (they are not replaced)

A good first step to answering your questions is examining the basic principles for probability of sampling with replacement (~not without replacement or hypergeometic).

We have tried to use the basic principles for probability and while it is simple to consider the total number of possible combinations 25^37 we are struggling to calculate the number of combinations that contain all of the 5 chosen numbers.

Any help would much be appreciated, as this problem is not solved
