    Factor analysis question

    Hi,

I was hoping somebody might be able to help with a question about factor analysis. Is there a problem with putting three different groups (of workers) into the same factor analysis to create factor scores on certain latent variables?

    Thanks in advance,

    Gareth

depends on whether you can provide reasonable evidence that the same factor model holds on the three different groups. if you can show this, then yes, you should be OK.
