Hi,

I collected cross-sectional data on personality and attitude variables for a social psychology research project and now I will be doing the analysis soon. My aim is to look at the relationships between different variables.

1. I wanted to get a second opinion on whether the statistical tests I am planning to conduct are the correct ones. I currently think that doing a few correlational analyses to whether there are significant and strong relationships between variables is enough. Is there anything I am missing?

However, as stats is not my strongest point I am interested in seeing whether you guys think I am missing something.

I am not interested in looking at explained variance hence regressions are not necessary.

2. One point I am unsure about and would appreciate guidance on is whether I would need to conduct t-tests (given the data is parametric) to look at whether group differences are significant?

Thanks very much
