A bit rusty could someone give me a shove in the right Direction Please

Hi guys , I'm a management PhD student. I did a module on SPSS 14 before having to take a year out. I'm now starting to write up a bit of my thesis and need a bit of a poke in the right direction with some Stats....

    Basically this is the senario.

I have a ranked sample I have produced from websites hits. These hits can change from one day to another so I want to pull off my site statistics one day rank them then do it a month later and rank them again comparing the difference in 1 position and 2 website hits to validate my sampling method.

If you were doing this what is the first thing that would spring to mind ?

I have in my mind a way of doing it but just want to make sure I'm not barking up the wrong tree.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated !!

    Cheers

    Andy

It is all depending on the objective of the study.

We don't have any idea about available data other than the rank information.

With the above data you can try rank correlation and see how both the ranks ( first month & second month) related.
In the long run, we're all dead.
