    Conditional Probability?

What is the probability on a single roll of a pair of dice, that the sum is 6, given that at least one die came up 1?

I'm thinking that there are 11 ways to roll the pair with a 1 on at least one die.
Of those 11 ways 2 sum to 6 (1&5, 5&1), so my answer is 2/11

    Is this correct?

Thank you. I was confused because it was a multiple choice question with these answers:
    A) 1/30 B) 1/5 C) 1/36 D) 1/6 E) 1/12

    Re: Conditional Probability?

I see... There must be a typo either in the problem formulation or the list of potential answers.

You would need to start with a fresh thread by demostrating that you have worked on a solution yourself. It would best if you could share the parts of your solution that you feel confident about. After that people would start giving you hints, hopefully.
