Ryan-Joiner test for normality ('by hand' in excel)

    Hi,

I can't seem to get the correct Ryan-Joiner test statistic with this data (see attached).

In Minitab it gives RJ: 0.998, p>0.100

I'm doing it manually to make sure I understand how it works

    Thanks in advance

    I got 0.998360896 when i calculated manually.

You should calculate the rank(x) in the Sample column.( not the serial number)
And the Test statistic is the correlation between the x and inverse normal value of sample column ( normal scores).
In the long run, we're all dead.
