    [ols] what is cov(xbar, bhat)?

For a linear regression, y(i) = a + b x(i) + e(i), what is cov(xbar, bhat), ie, the covariance between the sample mean of x, xbar, and the ols estimate of the slope, bhat?

A solution for cov(ybar, bhat) is provided here, http://www.talkstats.com/showthread....ssion-equals-0

I would also suggest checking out this thread for some guidelines on smart posting behavior that can help you get answers that are better much more quickly.
I don't have emotions and sometimes that makes me very sad.
