To check whether data is normally distributed or not

I have calculated mean, median and mode for set of data consisting of 1140 values.
    Output is: mean = 108.27 mode = 107 and median = 108.

Whether my data is normally distributed?

Note: For data to be normally distributed - mean, median and mode to be equal.
In my case, there is slight difference in values.
    So I am confused.
    Help required.

Your (sample) data aren't normally distributed, that's for sure,
since median and mean are not exactely the same.

    With kind regards

I doubt that much real world data is ever perfectly normal. The real question is if it is abnormal enough to matter. There is an old joke in social science statistics that if you find normally distributed data - someone made it up.

Even if all three equaled each other exactly, all that it would imply is that the distribution is symmetrical.
