    Welcome to Talk Stats Forum.

In order to keep homework help effective and efficient, we request all members to abide by these guidelines:

    1) For students of statistics: Please try the problem on your own first, and tell us what you have done so far. The more information we have, the better we can help you. Please don't expect quick solutions to your homework. We'll help you get started, exchange ideas, how-to's, etc. but only if you show that you are willing to learn and put in effort as well.

    2) For volunteer teachers: Please feel free to post hints and explanations, but do not post complete solutions prematurely, at least not until the original poster has showed some work.

    3) Zero-spam policy: Do not post the same question in multiple forums. Questions will be answered regardless of which forum they are in. If you are posting a link to your website just to drive traffic to it, the post will be deleted.

Now post away and have fun!
