    Response Rates

    Hello!
    I have a simple question.
If I determined that I needed 100 participants to fill our my survey. We had a simple random sampling technique. However, due to budget issues, we kept sampling until we got 100 participants who consented to fill out the survey (as opposed to approaching 200 for example and assuming that about 100 will fill it out).
Based on this method, can I report on a response rate in a presentation? Or will this overestimate my rate? Would highly appreciate a suggested reference.
    Thank you

Response rate = those eligible who completed it. Not sure what your questions is, provide a little more in the description on what you are fretting about in particular. Seems like you changed your methodology, and that is your issue.
