Path coefficient comparisons among non-nested SEM models

I am trying to compare three alternative, non-nested SEM models (using same sample, predicting same outcomes). I want something more targeted than an AIC (or similar) evaluation. Specifically, I'm hoping that there is a way to test the strength of a pathway (P1) in one model (M1) against the strength of a path (P2) in an alternative model (M2).

    Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

have you considered Vuong's (1989) likelihood-ratio test for non-nested hypotheses?
