Wink Taxon Distribution 3 treatments comparison, T test

    Hello,

ive developed 3 models wich predict the extent of area covered by a taxon.
what statistical test could be useful for comparing the 3 outputs of a polygon area. These have no replicates. The treatments correspond to bioclimatic variables projected in a time scale.

    Time Area (hectares)
    2000 18,493,300
    2050 34,883,800
    2070 32,162,900

is a simple T test apropriate or is there something more robust?

    Thanks in advance

Do you have a dispersion parameter (e.g. standard dev, etc.) and what the heck is a taxon?

Re: Taxon Distribution 3 treatments comparison, T test

    hello,

a taxon would be a group of individuals studied. The standar deviation is 7,171,779.194 Ha. The simple T test shows a p value of 0.03021,

    is it a reasonable test?

Well you have 3 groups correct and what do you want to compare them to?
