Can some one give me formula to calculate sample size using calculator or manually.
This data I have right now:
Population size = 500
Confidence level = 95%
Margin of error = 5%
It would be perfect if someone use my data in formula so I can how it been used

It is a test to determine number of people you need to test in order to generalize the population , I find a calculator online and it give me exactly 217 sample size.
Unfortunately I check other sites, youtubes, it is difficult to follow how they are calculating the sample size.
How can I get the same output in the picture but manually ?
Anyone willing to help ?
