[ASK] Combination: Am I Doing This Right?

Among 10 candidates of Students Council members, 3 people will be selected to undergo training. The number of possible ways to do so if 1 candidate doesn't want to be selected is .... (Indonesian National Exam Year 2013/2014)
    A. 120
    B. 90
    C. 84
    D. 78
    E. 69

I did it like this: Because 1 person doesn't want to be selected, there are only 9 candidates remain. From there, I did the combination C(9,3). Am I doing it right? From this way, I got C (84) as the answer.

    Sounds good to me.
I don't have emotions and sometimes that makes me very sad.

But how about the possibilities of which one among them doesn't want to be selected? Is that not considered?
