Post Distribution of Sample Mean Question

Hi, I have a bit of a problem with constructing a sampling distribution of the mean. The question itself is relatively simple:

A population consists of the values 2 and 8
Construct the distribution of sample mean based on samples of size 3 selected with replacement

I'm confused as to how I construct sample sizes of 3 when only given 2 values in the population. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Ok so I did some thinking and perhaps the "with replacement" means that each sample space can have recurring numbers. So like 2,2,2 or 2,2,8, or 2,8,8 etc.
Can anyone confirm if this is correct or not? Thanks a lot.
