    PCA use

    Hi everybody,
Is PCA used to see whether a set of designed items to measure something actually do it?
It's a big panic for me.
    Thank you very much

    Re: PCA use

    Hi everybody,

To explain my panic: I designed a set of items (variables) to measure some aspects (components or factors) that are known and I carried out a PCA analysis which showed good results, I am wondering whether I should have rather used an CFA instead. Do you think it is acceptable? I mean the method. I need advice please help me
