Is ANOVA biased compared to ANCOVA?

Can we consider ANOVA is biased compared to ANOCOVA despite that the normality is still maintained in ANOVA?

If the assumptions of ANOVA are met, then it's estimates are not biased.
My understanding is that you cannot compare these two types of analyses. ANCOVA is typically used when there are numerical covariates to categorical variables and aids in answering different (than ANOVA) research questions.
