    (Anova)Comparing 4 Data




    I have data of soil hardness from 4 different treatments
    I want to know if they are significantly different to each other or not.
    In Anova I can only select 2 data. Dependent and independent

    How can I compare 4 data with each other?
    Would really appreciate your help

    The dependend variable would be 'soil hardness' in your case; the indep variab would be 'treatment' type.
    I do not know about spss, but notice that some software call the indep variable 'grouping variable'.

    EDIT:
    I saw from another thread of yours that you use R. Should you want to perfoem Kruskal-Wallis test as a non-parametric alternative to 1-way Anova, I have put together an R function which allows you to quite easily get notched boxplots (with individual observations displayed as jittered points) and, on the same chart, the result of the KW test.
