    random variable x

Consider a continuous random variable X with the density function (called the exponential density)
    f(x) =8<: e^-x if x = 0; and 0 otherwise:
    a) Find and sketch the cdf for X.
    c) Find the mean and variance of X.
    d) Find P(1 _ X _ 2).

    so far i have this
    a) i have a sketch diagram
    b) e(x) =1 var(x)= 1 (using the integration method)
    c) this is the question i have......i can't seem to understand it properly.
    please help johnq

    Find P(1 < X < 2)

    Integrate f(x) dx from x=1 to x=2
