Thread: Variable Analysis

    Variable Analysis

I'm new to using regression and was curious how most of you go about creating a tightly fit model. I've always tried to get all my variables under a p-level of .05. But is there something else I should be looking for? Should I try to get the F level as high or low as possible. Just curious what else I should be paying attention to. Thanks for any help.

    Re: Variable Analysis

Could you tell us a bit more? What is the topic of your study,
what are the research questions, which variables are included,
how were they measured, where is your sample from, how
large is your sample size? And why is it your primal goal (as
it seems) to maximise F (or R)?

    With kind regards

    K.
