    Hypothesis test on number of votes accidentially given to Buchanan

    Hey

    I have the following task:
    Estimate the number of votes, denoted v, in Palm Beach that are
    accidentially given to Buchanan by including a dummy variable for
    this county in the regression model of Part 1. Test the hypothesis
    that v < 975 against the alternative that v 975. Motivate why this
    hypothesis is important and discuss the results.

    Part 1 is to run a gregression of the number of votes on Buchana on a sonstant and the votes on Gore.

    Should i just make a regression on:
    BUCHANA=Intercept+Beta_1*GERO+Beta_2*DUMPLAM

    The problems is then what vaule should I use for b in the t-test?

    Hope you can give me some kind of help

    The data for the task is attached in a zip-file-
