Assistance with Monte Carlo Method for Board GAme

    Outcomes 16 cards.

The cards have up to four values.

I need assistance building a data set I can analyze. Simulating a starting hand, and simulating a couple 1000 random plays/our shuffles to ensure the game is balanced.

    Thanks in advance.

What program did you want to use? Also, total of 16 cards with 4 outcomes??? So we can say a card has either 1, 2, 3, 4 and their independent probability is 25%?

I have the monte carlo proto type built already in excel and would like to send for review. ARe you savvy on making changes via excel.

    Its got 16 cards
each card have likelyhood of increased versus basic ability
Along the way players aquire additional cards which randomly increases charachter attributes.

The simulation roughly captures the average ending score of the players through simulation.

Just need to see if its scoped correctly for end of game bosses with the variable outcomes that are likely to occur....loss of cards, turns, movement nuances etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi Jesper. Thanks for reaching out.

I can offer mention in the board game rule book; however no financial incentives at this time. I'm a shoestring board game developer by day. What may draw interest.....is DENMARK plays a huge role in my game.

I have the monte carlo built I just need it further tweaked.

here is the web site greenfeetgames.org
if interested drop me a line.

BTW....I love the world cup and Denmark is one of my favorite teams...ever since 1982....and the Sean Connery edited world cup highlights

    Best to you.

    Tom
