Question Confidence intervals and effect size for non-parametric tests help

    Hi

I am currently carrying out data analysis on SPSS for pre post treatment measures using non-parametric tests, the Wilcoxon signed rank test and McNemar. I am wondering if anyone could advise me on how I could calculate confidence intervals for these and where I can find the test statistic for calculating the phi effect size on SPSS?

    Thanks in advance

Haven't ran Mcnemar 's in a long time but cant think of what you would put a CI on for wilcoxon especially think about what you are using it. I also think it may be hard getting effect sizes from Wilcoxon!

Good luck and keep us post. We will also see if others have input.
