My question might seem quiet straight forward but here it goes:

How can I calculate the percentage contribution of each input parameter in full factorial and RSM ANOVA when I have four input factors:

This is what I usually do:

For Full factorial with four inputs I divide the seq ss over the total seq ss and multiply the result by 100 to get it in %
for RSM with four inputs I divide seq ss over total seq ss and multiply by 100 to get it in 100%.

should it be as simple as that or am doing it totally wrong. I noticed that for full factorial the seq ss and adj ss are the same, however they are not completely the same in RSM (the squares are different except for the last one) I know from MINITAB that The sequential and adjusted sums of squares are always the same for the last term in the model)
