    Effect size for ANCOVA?

    Hi everyone,

Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I'm having a really hard time finding out how to do an effect size for ANCOVA in SPSS. Is this even a possibility? I have found some guides to do it in Excel, but I don't really understand them and was really hoping there is a way to go about this in SPSS.

I ran two ANCOVAs and I want to see how the effect size differs for each one - does anyone have advice about this?

    Thank you so much!

doesn't it spit out some kind of eta-squared / partial eta-squared kind of thing somewhere? i've seen it at the bottom of the box where you see if your factors are significant or not

Thanks for your answer! Would the eta-squared constitute the effect size? Or do I go about calculating it from there somehow?
