    Question chi-square

I'm really confused. what does "3 cells (12.0%) have expected count less than 5. The minimum expected count is 1.87" means. We're supposed to figure out whether our study is significant or not using the chi-square but I can't figure out whether the said statement tells me our study is significant. I'm not really sure. please help me.

iirc, for a chi-square test most of your cells must have an expected value of five to ensure some convergence via a limiting theorem. i take it this is an error message that SPSS or something is giving you

you have 25 cells, so 3 with an expected value less than five doesn't seem too bad here, and i suppose you can ignore this warning. the said statement doesn't tell you anything about the actual result of the test.
