    Confidence Interval for mean




    Hello
    in a statistical problem, the population standard deviation was given to be 3 and the sample size is 49. in the problem i was asked to use 99% confidence interval for single population mean,but the problem is i don't have the sample mean!!>>what should i do??

    What would you do if you had the sample mean? Give your answer in terms of \bar{x}. That's probably what they're looking for you to do.
    I don't have emotions and sometimes that makes me very sad.
