    Kappa SPSS

    Hello All,

Thank you in advance if you are able to provide some information on my question. I am attempting to run Cohen's kappa for inter-rater agreement in SPSS. I have 2 raters; however, there are multiple variables (20+) that they are each rating. My question is how do I go about setting this up to run Kappa (i.e. using the standard point and click or the syntax).

Thank you very much if you are able to help me out here.

    Derek

You'll get faster answers by posting to the right forum (SPSS rather than statistics). But this is easy -- Crosstabs --> statistics. One of the options is kappa. You have to have raters as separate columns (variables) so you can crosstabulate Item1Rater1 with Item1Rater2.
