    sampling method

Mark wants to evaluate the GPAs of current NYU undergraduate students. He has
received a list of all current students from the registrar and wants to take a
probability based sample from this list. If Mark wants to ensure that his final sample
is comprised of 30% freshman, 25% sophomores, 25% juniors, and 20% seniors,
which sampling method would be most appropriate?

Hi! We are glad that you posted here! This looks like a homework question though. Our homework help policy can be found here. We mainly just want to see what you have tried so far and that you have put some effort into the problem. I would also suggest checking out this thread for some guidelines on smart posting behavior that can help you get answers that are better much more quickly.
I don't have emotions and sometimes that makes me very sad.

What about copyright issues? Someone made efforts to create homework/exam questions, and someone else is posting them here just as if they were his own.

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. I'm pointing them to our homework policy.

    No disagreement here.

Just wondering if such postings might be legally or ethically questionable.

    With kind regards

This is just an example. You are misunderstanding.
