Hi all, I have a scenerio here and I am having trouble figuring out which test to use. I believe that I should be using a repeated measures test (under randomized block). However, what about using a split-plot, ANCOVA, or nested model, or some other test? I just need to know which test to use!


2 Teachers believe that the color of their schools has an effect on student achievement. However, both the school colors are different. Both teachers believe that their schools are the best color in this context.
A common type of achievement serves as the central outcome to be compared (i.e. history). Test scores are to be compared between the 2 schools at 2 different times (midterm and final). That is, within each school, 2 measures of achievement are considered.
3 students were randomly chosen from each of the two schools, and their scores on a common midterm and final were recorded:

(MIDTERM) Teacher 1: 95, 80, 87 Teacher 2: 80, 76, 65
(FINAL) Teacher 1: 83, 78, 90 Teacher 2: 78, 90, 89
