    Hypothesis Test

    n=45
    sample mean = 17.1
    sample std dev = 6.4

    What is the probability that the sample mean differs from the true mean by 2 or more?

    Thanks in advance!

    Do you have any work to show? Can you set up the null and alternative hypotheses?

    Unfortunately no, I'm a bit lost as to where to start (hence the post).

    Maybe this isn't even a Hypothesis test but a CI calculation?

    You may start to think in this term to find the desired probability

    10.6<=μ <=23.5
