    calculate p value significance

How to calculate p value significance for the following?

We educated 334 individuals over the age of 50 about cancer. 87 (26.05%) of them made appointments with respective doctor, and 20 (5.99%) went through screening treatment.

The control group of 8594 individuals was age matched and had no education. . 1592 (18.52%) of them made appointments with respective doctor, and 376 (4.38%) went through screening treatment.

We are trying to assess the impact of education on appointments with doctor and treatment.

    hi,
you could also use a two sample p-test or Fishers exact test. BTW the impact on making an appointment is significant, on doing a screening not significant. Sort of what I would expect
    regards
