    Regression with two data sets?

    I have two data sets.

Set 1 contains daily flights and delay data:

    Flight Date
    Carrier
Departure Delay, ranging from 0 to 1650 minutes.

    Set 2 contains weather information:

    Date/Time
    Hourly Visibility (distance)
    Hourly Windspeed (mph)
Hourly Wind direction (using compass direction i.e., 360=true north)
    Hourly Pressure (inches of mercury)
    Hourly Precipitation (inches)

    Question:
    a) Can I run a regression on delays/visibility, windspeed, direction, pressure, precipitation given that I have two different data sets?

    b) Does the fact that that set A does not have time, whereas set B data is captured hourly have any impact on my test?

I understood that your problem is that the weather information is not related in any way with the flight delays, isn't it? In my huge inexperience I would say that is a huge problem.

    Hope someone else helps, sorry!
