    It is all context related. Some fields have big data and others don't. The vagueness of you post does not help us answer your question.


    The number thirty is used by some as a guideline for when data may approximate normal (t) distribution. Though many may say that the rule is too cautious. If you want more information you are going to have to present more informative information.
