    Interpretation Interaction Term




    Hey,
    maybe you could help me with this interpretation (i'm learning with the slides).

    The model is about employment chances and the independen variables are gender, marriage and some others. The question is the interaction effect marriage*female.

    Here you can see the Stata output. Please check if my interpretation is correct (AME Interpretation):


    If we look at the interaction effect of gender and marriage we can say that unmarried women have in contrast to unmarried men a 3 percentage points lower probability of having a job, but the effect is not significant so there is no real difference.
    Married women have in contrast to married men a 27 percentage points lower probability of having a job. The effect is highly significant, so we can say that there is a real difference.
