    Significant Correlations?




    Are significant correlations able to indicate:

    Strength of the effect, size of the effect and the probability level?

    Yes, sample correlation is one of the few estimators which give complete information on both

    1) the strength of the statistical significance of the studied relationship

    and

    2) the effect size (strength) of the studied relationship.

    Assuming, of course, the researcher knows the sample size... I do not know what you mean by "probability level" .
