    Can you please help me analyze this hartigan's dip test graph?

    My colleague sent me this. He said he used a toolbox so he doesn't know how to interpret this either.
    P-value on adaptation index: 0.06 P-value on the log of the adaptation index: 0.04
    adaptation index is not important. it's just a number from about 0.5-5 from a sample of about n = 30.
    What are the axes? I don't understand the points or lines at all. I know that the Hartigan's dip test is analyzing the difference between my empirical data and a best fitted unimodal distribution. But how does this translate onto this graph? Thanks in advance!

    A colleague helped me out a bit, but we still have a few questions. So it looks like it's a running cumulative calculation of all my datapoints (there are 31 data points so the x axis makes sense). but I don't quite understand why the y-axis ranges from 0-1. And also I don't understand why there are some negative values (if this is a cumulative sum). My data points range from 0.62-4.05.

    I think I figured it out. It's actually the cumulative sum of the natural logarithm of my datapoints. Which is why I have negative numbers.
