1 way Anova vs Two Way Anova -HELP needed

I suck at stats and am always confused >.<

    I have 24 animals.

Let's say I have 3 groups of animals (A,B,C) and 8 in each group. Each group gets infused with a different drug.

So Day 1, i infuse drug, train the animals, test then gather means for whatever I'm measuring.

    A: Mean #1
    B: Mean #1
    C: Mean #1

Day 2, I test them drug free and records means. 3 more means.6 in total

    A: Mean #1, #2
    B: Mean #1, #2
    C: Mean #1, #2

Day 3, I scramble groups meaning that certain animals have been switched around, I infuse them again and now have 3 more means. 9 in total

    A: Mean #1, #2, #3
    B: Mean #1, #2, #3
    C: Mean #1, #2, #3

Total of 9 averages that I want to compare and now if there is an effect of drug.

I still only have 24 animals, I just chose to scramble animals within groups for the last test day. Since I have so many averages, I obviously have to an ANOVA but I'm thinking that I'll need to do a Two-Way? Repeated Measures?

You could use a "mixed" ANOVA with a grouping factor (between-subjects factor) A/B/C, and a repeated-measures factor (within-subject factor) Day1/day2/day3,

The interaction between Group and Day then tells you whether groups develop differently over time.

    With kind regards
