Time required in a retrospective study

    Hello

I'm describing the dispatches of a drug from a hospital pharmacy and I have the data of each one of them Between a period of two years.
Some are supposed to complete their treatment and leave the hospital and others enter to be treated in the hospital (the number of people should be constant with these outflows and income), so I wonder how much time I have to consider (of this two years) to describe well the population of this drug.

    Thanks!!!

That would be a question only you can answer. You would want to make sure your period covers and addresses any seasonalities or historic biases if relevant, otherwise it is up to you to appraise the time period.

Are you testing any hypotheses within this project?
