Some sort of one way control chart ??

    Hi

I have a number of samples and i want to find some lower limit so, lets say that 5% of the samples go below the lower limit. I cannot use control charts because it doesnt matter if the sample goes over the upper limit.
I know that I can just calculate what the lower limit has to be so 5% of the samples are below it but I was wondering if there is some "fancy" way that I am forgetting about so I can do the same thing

Why not use a control chart and ignore/remove the upper limit?

Added: A control chart implies that the time order is important and you want to have an alert if the process generating the data shifts. Is that true in your case?
