1. Regression equation and prediction

Predict the average marks of a student in Year 6 who has raised their hand 35 times, visited 40 resources, looked at 75 announcements, participated in 5 discussions, is a Female in a Math course. Discuss if it is appropriate to predict the marks of students under these conditions. Show the predicted regression equation.

Female and Math are dummy variables (i.e 1 for female and 0 for male, and 1 for enrolled in math and 0 not enrolled in math). For Year (what grade they are in goes from 2 to 12). No student possesses all of these variables.

For the preicated regression equation: Mark = 49 + 0.06 x Year 6 + 0.13 x 35 + 0.21 x 40 + 0.09 x 75 + 0.36 x 5 + 4.95 x 8.5 x 1.

The numbers are from the coefficents of each variable (slope) and Mark is the intercept (dependent variable). The equation is wrong and how do you account for the Year 6 variable.

how to write out the predicted regression equation with all these variables
