    Variance calculation

the mean and standard deviations of 7 observations are 4 and 3 respectively.the value 4 it was later found that it is actually 3. find the true mean and standard deviation?
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I could easily found the true value of mean, but I am asking would the value of the standard deviation change after that adjustment to the values?!..In my opinion the standard deviation will have the same value..what do you think?

Rewrite the original question please. Your rewrite reads awkwardly.

The original source did not use capitalization or spacing after punctuation? Can you provide a link to the source then?

I hate to say it, but I find it difficult that someone originally wrote this sentence: "the value 4 it was later found that it is actually 3. "
