Need help with performing the correct analysis?

    I have:

Two categorical Dependent Variables: Treatment(A, B), and Genotype (WT, HET).

Two continuous Independent Variables: Latency (seconds), and Frequency (count).

I wonder if I need to perform a MANOVA to see if there's an interaction of Treatment/Genotype on Latency or Frequency but my Stats software says to do a MANOVA my IV and DV must both be continuous variables. I also tried to just test Genotype and Treatment on just one DV, say latency and I got a weird error. I'm using StatView.

I feel like you may have used dependent and independent variable terms interchangeably above - making the interpretation of your post difficult.
